After graduating from Simon Fraser University with B.S Computing Science, while working as a patent engineer, she suffered from insomnia for a month due to excessive mental exertion, and then got herpes zoster. She recovered quickly after three acupuncture treatments, so began to be interested in acupuncture. She entered VCC to major in acupuncture and successfully passed the Canadian national examination and obtained the BC provincial registered acupuncturist license.

In her leisure time, she likes to study ancient Chinese medical classics such as the Yellow Emperor’s Internal Classic, and dabbles in metaphysics, I Ching ,Taoism, meditation, and Qigong. Although she does not practice martial arts, she has extensive knowledge of martial arts. In addition, she likes to live broadcast classical piano performances on YouTube every day. The time of practicing piano is often the moment when she ponders deeply about the universe.
